IT Projects

What is IT Projects?

IT projects are planned, scope-defined engagements to implement new technology, migrate systems, upgrade infrastructure, or accomplish specific technology goals for your business. Examples include office moves, server upgrades, new software deployments, and network redesigns.

Why it matters

Technology projects are complex, and without experienced project management, they frequently run over budget, take longer than expected, or fail to deliver the intended outcome. Dedicated project management ensures changes are handled correctly.

How we implement it

We scope the project with you, define deliverables and timelines, assign a project lead, and manage execution from start to finish. We communicate progress regularly and handle the technical heavy lifting so your team can stay focused on the business.

What your organization gets

On-Time Delivery

Managed projects with clear timelines and accountability hit their milestones.

Budget Clarity

Defined scope means no surprise costs mid-project.

Expert Execution

Projects are handled by people who have done similar work many times before.

Minimal Business Disruption

Good project management means changes happen smoothly, not chaotically.

Common questions

What counts as a project versus normal support?

Support keeps what you have running. Projects change things: an office move, a server migration, new software rollout. Small improvements under four hours are simply included in the Standard; larger work is scoped as a project.

Do projects cost extra?

Anything under four hours is included in your plan, which covers most routine improvements. Larger projects get a clear written scope and a fixed quote up front, approved by you before work begins. Two things worth saying plainly: a large project cannot be split into a run of smaller ones to stay under the threshold, and on a project we estimate at twelve hours the first four are still included, so you are only quoted for the eight beyond them.

Why do projects go better with our managed provider?

Because we already know your environment, there is no discovery phase, no guessing, and no finger-pointing between an outside installer and your support team. One team owns the outcome.

Who runs the project day to day?

A named project lead who owns the schedule and the communication, so you have one person to ask rather than a ticket queue to chase.

Partly included in the Bearium Standard

The smaller end of this is covered by your plan. Anything larger is scoped and quoted before work starts, so you see the number first.
